Our Team

Ashley

Ashley has been a Pom Mom since 2013, but has always had small dogs. Ashley began fostering dogs in 2016 and has fostered 27 dogs in that time. Ashley worked for Social Services as a Foster Care Prevention worker for 12 years before recently beginning a remote Medicaid Case Management position. Dancers Bridge Dog Rescue is a dream come true for Ashley, whose passion is to save as many dogs as possible.

Cayenne

Cayenne (the face behind the name) is Ashley’s soul dog, and has been with Ashley since she was six weeks old. Cayenne taught herself to do flips in the air for treats, prompting Ashley to call her “Tiny Dancer.” Her other nicknames include Cayenne-a-banana, Banana and Sissy Girl. Cayenne generally ignores the fosters unless they’re trying to take one of her sleeping spots.

Sharon

Sharon adopted rescue Cody in 2017. Cody was Ashley’s first foster dog and just recently turned 10 years old. Sharon is a retired nurse of 42 years and also served in the USAF. Sharon has been a Pet Mom to three Pomeranians and two cats in the last 35 years, raising them from pups and kittens to old age, with one being a rescue she adopted at six years old.

Oliver

Oliver (Ollie, Ollie-ver) is the perfect boy. Oliver’s family gave him away for free on Craigslist in 2014 when he was 18 months old. Oliver listens the best and always likes to be wherever Ashley is. Oliver is the most likely to play with the foster pups. He loves playing with squeaky toys and tearing them to shreds.

Asher

Asher has always owned dogs growing up, and was given his Beagle, Blue, as a Christmas gift seven years ago. Asher is working in retail while he decides what to study in college. Asher is new to the World of Rescue and is excited to learn everything he can while helping dogs in need.

Coco

Coco (Loco Coco, Coco Bean, Beanie Baby, Bean) came to Ashley in 2015, having just turned two years old and already living in four different homes. Coco is protective of Ashley and loves to sit in her lap to watch TV. Coco is the Alpha of her pack and helps Ashley determine if a foster dog is another Alpha or submissive.
